Pani Puri (Lahori Gol Gappay)


Coriander powder 3 tablespoons
Cumin seeds powder 3 tablespoons
Mango powder (Aamchur) 1 teaspoon
Black pepper powder 1 teaspoon
Dry Ginger powder 1/2 teaspoon
Black(rock) salt 1 teaspoon

Mix this all powder & then our Pani Puri Masala is ready.

Gol Gappay


Whole wheat flour 1 cup

Whole wheat flour 1/2 cup extra (for rolling)


oil (for frying)


Put the wheat flour in the bowl add enough water to form a soft dough.

Put the dough in fridge for 1/2 hour.

Now roll into a thin sheet adding extra flour and cut out small circles.

Heat oil in a medium high flame and add rolled sheet circles.

Take out as soon as the dough rises as it will burn too quickly.

Boiled potato 1/ cup cut in cubes

Boiled chickpeas 1/2 cup

Onion (medium) 1 chopped in cubes

Tomato (medium) 1 chopped in cubes

Sweet tamarind Chutney 1/2 cup

Mint leaves 1 tablespoon chopped.

Yogurt (optional)

Red Chili Chutney & green chili (for extra spice optional)


  1. Add Pani Puri Masala in 1 liter of water and put in the fridge to cool down.
  2. Take the fried dough balls make a small hole and add round table spoon of boiled potato, chickpeas, onion, tomato. top with sweet tamarind chutney and mint leaves.
  3. You can add yogurt and red chili chutney, its up to you.
  4. Serve with cold Pani Puri water.TeWaHMZINb
